BUDAPEST JAZZ CLUB IS CELEBRATING IT'S 9TH BIRTHDAY!

★Star performers, festival vibes and a huge birthday cake on the 7th of January at BJC!★

Budapest Jazz Club invites everyone for the ninth time to celebrate the club and the genre. Like in the previous years, we will have three performers who are responsible for the festival mood.

Our first band playing this night will be Bencze Alma Quartet. Their repertoire consists of carefully and uniquely instrumented covers. They give explanations to songs not only by the music, but by putting emphasis on the lyrics.

Our second band is led by one of the biggest names of Hungarian jazz scene, who has appeared on stage with musicians such as Randy Brecker, Anthony Jackson, Billy Cobham, Peter Erskine and Bob Mintzer.
Attila László's compositions are soft, lively, and energetic at the same time. The rhythm section often compensates them, which makes their music one of a kind.

After slicing and eating the storey birthday cake offered by Kaszala World Confectionery together, the internationally acclaimed Barabás Lőrinc Quartet will perform. This modern, true new-jazz band will keep the audience up all night!
