Kurt Rosenwinkel Trio - Bandit '65
It's been six years since Kurt Rosenwinkel gave a memorable concert at Budapest Jazz Club. That time we mentioned him as the future Pat Metheny, John Scofield or Bill Frisell, but it is now clear that he creates trends rather than following them. He started on Gary Burton's side and continued in collaborations with great musicians such as Chris Potter, Brian Blade, Joshua Redman, Brad Mehldau, Joe Henderson and Paul Motian. His new trio completes jazz melodies with the help of effects and the brilliant progressive drum play of Gintas Janusonis.
