New menu and creative chef at BJC BISTRO

Our new creative chef, Bendegúz Palágyi created a brand new menu for us with several amazing specialities. Now we offer delicacies such as homemade potato-batata-beetroot chips selection with homemade pineapple dip, Surf & Turf tenderloin and shrimp variation with citrus salad and potato wedges, and the new wild game speciality of the house: deer tenderloin with chocolate sour cherry jus and sage hash brown.

Bendegúz Palágyi 
creative chef
 
I learned the profession from chefs such as Attila Mógor. With this knowledge, I got into Haraszthy Winery,  where I work as head chef now. Cooking is not just important to me, it’s a passion. I create meals I’d love to eat as well. The most essential thing is for the food to give pleasure. My position here is the fruit of my work. I was pleased to engage in the exciting and creative workflow of creating the new menu at BJC.

During my twenty years, spent on the field of gastronomy I learnt from the best Hungarian and international chefs. I had the opportunity to learn different cuisines all over the word for six year. During my international tuition, I have been working in England, Scotland and the Netherlands from small places to 2AA Rosette restaurants. Nowadays, I use my knowledge to write menus for restaurants, and started my own traditional hungarian cheese manufactory.
 
 
 

 

We are waiting to our guests before, during or after the concerts from Monday to Saturday.
