Tim Ries - Oláh Kálmán Quartet (USA/HUN)
Most people know Tim Ries from the Rolling Stones, but in the past decades he has mainly been focusing on jazz music. He performs all around the world, but has said that Hungary is is second home.
He has toured with the Rolling Stones twice, and has played with musicians such as John Patittuci, Brian Blade, Red Garland, Bill Frisell, Paul Simon, Lyle Lovett, Stevie Wonder, Blood, Sweat and Tears, or David Lee Roth.
Pianist-composer Oláh Kálmán is one of the most original characters of the contemporary jazz scene. He has gained international success as a soloist and with his formation Trio Midnight.
