“HALFTIME” exhibition opened at the Budapest Jazz Club

The exhibition featured a selection of defining projects from the past three years, offering visitors insight both into the students’ artistic development and into the visual thinking that characterizes today’s young generation of graphic designers. The title “HALFTIME” aptly referred to this stage of their studies, where the artists, having reached the midpoint of their education, already work with a distinctive personal vision and refined graphic solutions.

The exhibition presented a total of eleven works by nine artists, showcasing a wide range of graphic approaches, visual experiments, and personally driven creations. The exhibited works were not only available for viewing, but could also be purchased, and in some cases ordered as larger prints.

The atmosphere of the Budapest Jazz Club proved to be a particularly fitting setting for the exhibition. The meeting of music and visual art created a natural environment for presenting the works of these young artists, while the BJC once again demonstrated its importance as one of Budapest’s key venues for contemporary cultural initiatives. The opening event took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors not only had the opportunity to discover the artworks themselves, but also to meet the artists in person and gain insight into the ideas and creative processes behind the pieces.
