At the end of May 2026, musical performer and director Attila Sápszki will celebrate his 50th birthday. Many of his artist friends and students will also perform at the festive event.

Now 18 years old, the Collective is presenting its third full-length album at the Budapest Jazz Club, featuring 11 original compositions and more than 25 participating musicians.

Jazzation is the most important a cappella jazz ensemble in Hungary: it has won four awards at international competitions and has worked with Bobby McFerrin, Real Group, King’s Singers and other vocal and instrumental groups from Hungary and abroad.

After the successful weekend jam sessions, Budapest Jazz Club now welcomes everyone to the new Thursday jams!

The drummer-composer Balázs Bágyi is one of the prominent figures in the Hungarian jazz scene, regularly performing abroad as well. He has been leading his own bands since his twenties.

Students and teachers of the jazz department will perform.

Gina Kanizsa is considered one of the most outstanding artists of her generation, and it is no coincidence that the professional jury of jazz.hu chose her as the best female jazz singer in 2023 and 2024.

Spontaneous & joyful open jam nights of The Liszt Academy of Music’s amazingly talented young musicians every Tuesday.

The duo of Myrtill Micheller and Tibor Pintér, successful for over ten years, performs monthly at the BJC. Their repertoire primarily consists of jazz standards, evergreens, and jazzy adaptations of pop songs.

Students of the Jazz Faculty of Bartók Béla Conservatory are the most talented and and the youngest jazz musicians of their generation.

The Kővirágok School of Singing presents it’s “Pop and light music” class to the audience by the end of the school year, for an hour long show.
