The band was founded in 2019 by Zoltán Pintér and Gábor Kollmann, inspired by their time spent playing in Aladár Pege’s ensemble.

After the successful weekend jam sessions, Budapest Jazz Club now welcomes everyone to the new Thursday jams!

The band aims to preserve the traditions of the quintet formation, one of the most original and sonically rich configurations in jazz music.

Each Wednesday, a different trio of talented young musicians is in charge of good vibes, and they welcome the audience to take part in their game.

The group started working professionally in 1990, and  has  been  recognised  from  the  beginning by audience and critics alike as one of the best young European mainstream jazz trio.
