1st Béla Szakcsi Lakatos International Jazz Piano Competition
One of the most exciting new events in the Hungarian jazz scene will debut in 2026: the Szakcsi Jazz Association, the Hungarian Jazz Federation, and the Budapest Jazz Club jointly present the 1st Béla Szakcsi Lakatos International Jazz Piano Competition. The competition pays tribute to the legendary pianist, composer, and improvisational genius, while also offering young talents the opportunity to showcase their creativity, technical skills, and individual musical voice.
