Berci Temesi and his friends - birthday concert
Berci Temesi is an Artisjus and two-time Fonogram Award-winning bass guitarist, musical director, producer, bandleader, session musician, and teacher. In 2012, he received the Artisjus Award and the Special Prize of the Hungarian Jazz Association. In 2013, he was awarded the Smoothjazz Songwriting Prize. Back in 2003, he won the Bass Guitarist of the Year award at the Golden Arrow Gala. In 2017, he was a distinguished prizewinner of the Jazzy Song Contest. He received the Fonogram Award in the category of “Hungarian Contemporary Entertainment Album of the Year” first in 2021 and again in 2025.
Between 2001 and 2020, more than 200 bass guitar students attended his private lessons. On September 25, the Budapest Jazz Club will host Berci Temesi’s 45th birthday concert. Under this band name, he has been touring the country for years, inviting his friends to join him on the larger stages of wine and jazz festivals as an Artisjus and Fonogram Award-winning bass guitarist.
