BJC Music Camp

We invite the youngest musicians to a jazz workshop camp designed primarily as a three-day program, while still offering valuable experiences for those attending on a daily basis. In addition to morning instrumental masterclasses, participating students can also develop their skills in afternoon ensemble workshops led by professional artist-teachers.

Our camp is intended for students who are already learning piano, guitar, bass guitar, or drums, and who would like to apply their knowledge in a band setting, improve their instrumental abilities, and try themselves out in a real stage environment. The instrumental lessons are complemented by shared music listening sessions and concert film screenings, followed by short, interactive discussions.

The workshops take place simultaneously in the separate rooms of the Budapest Jazz Club, organized by instrument groups. Camp participants and their accompanying adults are granted free admission on camp days to the concerts starting at 8:30 PM, as well as to the Jam Session concerts that follow.
