BJC Music Camp

We invite you to a three-day jazz workshop, which you may join for individual days as well, although the program has been designed so that you can get the most out of the experience by attending the entire camp.

In the mornings, you can develop your skills through instrumental masterclasses, while in the afternoons you will participate in ensemble workshops led by professional artist-instructors. You will have the opportunity to play music with other young musicians, gain new experiences, and immerse yourself in the world of jazz.

This camp is for you if you have already studied piano, guitar, bass guitar, or drums and would like to apply your instrumental skills in a band setting. You can grow as a musician while also testing yourself in real performance situations on the stage of the Budapest Jazz Club.

The instrumental classes will be complemented by group listening sessions and concert film screenings, followed by short interactive discussions. The workshops will take place simultaneously in the BJC’s separate rooms, organized by instrument groups.

In addition, throughout the duration of the camp, you and your accompanying adults may attend the concerts starting at 8:30 PM free of charge, as well as the Jam Sessions that follow them.
