Budapest Jazz Orchestra feat. Majsai Gábor
Starting from the traditional big band genre, the Budapest Jazz Orchestra accompanied the development of jazz from the 1920s to contemporary jazz in its productions. In recent years, the BJO has performed with such greats from the United States as George Duke, Joe Lovano, Peter Erskine, Jane Monheit, Ken Peplowski.
Gábor Majsai is a two-time Gold Record–winning, eMeRTon Award–winning singer. Often referred to as the “Hungarian Tom Jones,” he has become an ambassador of the swing genre in recent years. The BJO has previously performed with many outstanding artists; this concert will be one of the rare occasions on which they share the stage with one of the most iconic male figures of the Hungarian popular music scene.
