Budapest Jazz Orchestra: Tribute to Sammy Nestico

The members of the Budapest Jazz Orchestra consider it important to expand the popularity of jazz music in global community. The orchestra has special connections with other forms of art as well. They also welcome invitations for crossover experiments from other fields with pleasure. For example, the band teaches and helps to develop the younger jazz-generation. That is why BJO organizes its Jazz Camp year after year (in Balatonboglár). The band is the mentor of the annual Budapest Big Band Festival as well. Beside taking part in the organization of this professional big band meeting, BJO also gives master classes at the venue.
