A themed evening in the long-running club concert series of the FARKAS GÁBRIEL BAND, a jazz formation with a history spanning several decades. On the first day of September, the music of one of America’s greatest jazz legends, 17-time Grammy Award winner Tony Bennett, takes center stage. Frank Sinatra’s favourite singer collaborated with some of the finest artists of our time, including Lady Gaga and Andrea Bocelli. With this special programme, Gábriel pays tribute to his role model Tony Bennett, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday on August 3 this year, with a selection aimed especially at discerning jazz listeners.

An interesting parallel between the two artists is that both have distinguished themselves not only as performers but also in the visual arts. For this evening, Gábriel invites the audience into a special gallery: he has created an extensive exhibition dedicated to Tony Bennett’s life and artistic legacy. Gábriel’s distinctive voice and exceptional stage presence, together with the outstanding musicians accompanying him, promise an evening of first-class entertainment. For this special occasion, Farkas Gábriel’s jazz trio will be joined by the superb guitarist Attila Rieger.
