In autumn 2026, Budapest Jazz Club will once again host Cult in Glass’s best-known event series: the 26th edition of Glass of Jazz. As always, outstanding Hungarian wineries and fantastic jazz musicians will come together to create all the ingredients for a truly special evening. An evening where wine and jazz meet in perfect harmony.

 

Glass of Jazz is a meeting point for wine enthusiasts and jazz lovers, offering the chance to experience first-hand why these two make such a perfect pairing. All this takes place in the heart of Budapest, at the city’s iconic home of jazz, Budapest Jazz Club, which will naturally open its doors to exceptional wines as well on this special evening.

All admission tickets include unlimited wine tasting and admission to the concert.

 

Glass deposit: HUF 2,000

The full deposit is refunded when the glass is returned. The glass deposit can be paid in cash only. Guests may return their tasting glass and reclaim the full deposit at any time during the event. The deposit can be reclaimed at any time during the event, but no later than 11:30 PM after the event.

EXTRA EARLY BIRD – until August 23 (first 100 tickets):
Wine tasting + concert admission: HUF 9,500/person

 

EARLY BIRD – until September 10 (second 100 tickets):
Wine tasting + concert admission: HUF 10,500/person

 

ADVANCE TICKETS – until September 30:
Wine tasting + concert admission: HUF 12,500/person

 

REGULAR TICKETS – until October 7:
Wine tasting + concert admission: HUF 14,500/person

 

ON-SITE TICKETS – October 8 (subject to availability):
Wine tasting + concert admission: HUF 16,500/person

 

SMALL GROUP OFFER (7+1):
Buy 7 tickets at the current price and receive the 8th ticket free.

 

LARGE GROUP OFFER (10+2):
Buy 10 tickets at the current price and receive the 11th and 12th tickets free.

 

Discount vouchers, complimentary tickets and music-school student IDs normally granting free admission cannot be accepted for this event. Cult in Glass is committed to promoting responsible and moderate alcohol consumption. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 18.

Online and on-site ticket purchases cannot be modified, cancelled or withdrawn. Refunds or exchanges are only available if the event is cancelled and may be requested via either of the email addresses above.

Photo and video recordings may be made during the event.

The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program.

 

HOUSE RULES

 

General Glass of Jazz schedule:

 

6:00 PM – Doors open
8:00 PM – Concert, Part I
9:00–9:15 PM – Intermission
9:15 PM – Concert, Part II
10:00 PM – Concert ends
11:00 PM – Event ends

 

Glass deposit:

 

The deposit is HUF 2,000 and must be paid at the entrance to the event area, not at the box office. In exchange, guests receive a tasting glass. The HUF 2,000 deposit is refunded when the tasting glass is returned. Payment of the glass deposit is CASH ONLY. Guests may return their tasting glass and reclaim the full deposit at any time during the event, but no later than 11:30 PM.

 

Admission:

Admission begins 30 minutes before the event, at 5:30 PM.

Holders of couple or group tickets can only be admitted together. If members of a group arrive separately, all wristbands belonging to the couple or group ticket will be given to the first guest(s) to arrive.

A cloakroom is available at the venue, and guests are kindly requested to use it.

Wristbands granting admission to the event are issued at the Budapest Jazz Club box office upon presentation of the advance ticket, either in printed form or on a smartphone.

Opening hours and concert:

Guests may enter and leave the event freely at any time during opening hours (6:00 PM–11:00 PM).

Tasting glasses may be taken outside in front of the jazz club; however, consuming alcohol outside is not permitted.

The event is a walk-around wine tasting, therefore seating cannot be guaranteed in the tasting area.

Seats in the café area of Budapest Jazz Club are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guests may enter and leave the concert hall during the performance; however, whenever possible, we kindly ask you to do so during the applause between pieces.

Food and glasses of wine are welcome inside the concert hall.

Seats in the concert hall are available on a first-come, first-served basis, except for guests holding VIP and/or DINNER tickets.
