Az NMK bemutatja: Horváth Szabolcs Quartet
The Horváth Szabolcs Quartet was formed in 2022 at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. Their music is shaped by a love of improvisation, attentive interplay, and spontaneous musical dialogue. Their repertoire includes original compositions as well as jazz standards arranged in their own distinctive style. The quartet features Szabolcs Horváth, Junior Prima Award-winning pianist and composer, Zsolt Vörös on bass guitar, Ferenc Korbeli on guitar, and Tamás Fazekas on drums. In 2024, the ensemble was selected for the Talentum Hungaricum programme, and in 2025 they received the professional award at the 18th Jazz Showcase at Müpa, which led to a performance at the Liszt Institute in London later that year.
