Horváth Tojás Gábor Trio feat. Cheeky choir
Gábor Horváth Tojás is a jazz pianist, composer, producer and teacher at the Bartók Conservatory. He is one of the prominent performers of the Hungarian jazz scene, the founder of the Transform Quintet and a member of Zita Gereben's band, and he also made a joint record with the world-famous jazz pianist Joey Calderazzo. Cheeky has been an active chamber choir within the Csíkszereda choir family since 2018. The ensemble, currently consisting of around 20 members, is led by artistic directors Rita Kardos and Anna Zalavári. Their repertoire mainly features world music songs – in addition to Hungarian folk adaptations, their concerts are often enriched with a variety of other genres they enjoy, such as pop and jazz.
