Imre Kőszegi – one of the most prominent drummers in Hungarian jazz and recipient of the Liszt Prize and the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary – envisioned and leads this unique ensemble. Celebrating both his 60-year career and 80th birthday, he takes the stage at BJC with his newest project, Kőszegi Rhythm & Brass, joined by long-time collaborators and two outstanding talents from the younger and middle generation.
