Harmónia Jazzműhely: Lily Dior & Balázs József Trio
The deservedly popular singer Lily Dior, discovered by our late Jackie Orszaczky, went on to become one of Australia’s finest jazz vocalists. Then she took a bold step and moved to London, where she quickly established herself among the leading performers in a much more competitive scene. Later, the outstanding arranger and pianist Dave Matthews took notice of her and invited her to sing with his group, the Manhattan Jazz Quintet. As Emma Barnett aptly put it: “She possesses magnificent musicality and dazzling talent.”
