Liszt Prize–winning pianist and composer Kálmán Oláh believes in genre-crossing diversity both as a performer and a composer, favoring a symphonic sound and equal musical voices instead of the conventional melody-andaccompaniment pairing. As an improvising artist and composer, he has long been fascinated by the interweaving of classical music and jazz.
