Oláh Krisztián Quartet - Further Perspectives feat. Fekete-Kovács Kornél

Krisztián Oláh’s most important musical project uniquely combines composition and improvisation, creating a natural balance between the two. It is a form of structured spontaneity that embraces the spirit and musical vocabulary of our time, giving the ensemble a fresh and complex sound.

A special feature of the 2026/27 season’s Further Perspectives series is that, following last year’s Perspectives of Verve programme, audiences will be given an exclusive glimpse into the evolving musical world of the quartet’s new album, due for release in 2027, becoming almost part of the creative process themselves. The ensemble’s versatility and its increasingly deep commitment to contemporary classical music are further reflected in the four outstanding soloists from the Hungarian music scene who will join the group as guests for one concert each during the season: Kornél Fekete-Kovács (trumpet, electronics) and Márton Fenyvesi (guitar) from the world of jazz, and Ildikó Szabó (cello) and Dániel Láposi (percussion) from the fields of classical and contemporary music.
