János Egri Jr. is a Junior Prima Award-winning jazz pianist known for his versatility and captivating stage presence. Active since the age of 18, he is a well-known figure in the Hungarian jazz scene and has collaborated across genres—from mainstream jazz to pop and avant-garde projects. His talent was recognized by world-renowned Italian pianist Antonio Faraò, who praised him as “an excellent pianist”.

Egri received the Special Prize of the 2023 Müpa Jazz Showcase, leading to a sold-out concert at London’s iconic 606 Club with top UK musicians. He was also awarded **“Young Jazz Musician of the Year”** by the Hungarian Jazz Federation and later earned his master’s and teaching degrees from the Liszt Academy under Kálmán Oláh. He has performed internationally in cities like London, Istanbul, Belgrade, and across Europe.
