Each Wednesday, a different trio of talented young musicians is in charge of good vibes, and they welcome the audience to take part in their game.

As a child Gulli started banging on pots and pans on the kitchen floor of the family home in Reykjavik. Played guitar for two years age twelve and sang in a school band until the original drummer got sick and was forced to leave his chair.

On their latest album, the bandleader’s compositions are enriched by distinctive melodic contours, sensitive harmonies and personal interpretation, as well as the trio’s high-level musicianship — yet perhaps their greatest strength is the accessibility they maintain despite all the sophistication.

The repertoire of the duo consists of French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian masterpieces, own compositions, elegant jazz evergreens as well as fiery Latin tunes.
