These Wednesdays are random because the leader of the project, Barabás Lőrinc invites well-known characters of the contemporary Hungarian jazz scene to create something amazing in the form of a jam session.

Spontaneous & joyful open jam nights of The Liszt Academy of Music’s amazingly talented young musicians every Tuesday.

The quartet’s program is sophisticated and elegant. Their repertoire consists of interpretations from the Great American Songbook, as well as less frequently performed jazz classics.

The band plays the famous melodies from the era of the ’20s, ’30s and ’40s.

Since the audience is the judge of the match from the beginning to the end, no matter what language you speak, you will definitely enjoy this impro event.

The well-known band has launched a highly successful series at the BJC entitled Studio11 Evenings. At these bi-monthly concerts, an outstanding vocalist or instrumental soloist joins the ensemble.

With his own trio, he achieved first place at the Vysledky Jazz Festival in 2016, and in the same year he also received the “Newcomer of the Year” award. At his performances, he frequently played together with Ferenc Snétberger.
