From 13–15 August 2026, the Malomvölgy Festival welcomes lovers of jazz and outstanding live music to Lovas, one of the most charming villages in Hungary's Balaton Highlands. Set in the unique natural surroundings of the Márffy House, on the banks of the Séd Stream, the three-day boutique festival offers an intimate concert experience where Hungary's leading jazz and world music artists meet local gastronomy and the renowned wines of the Balaton Highlands.
 
 
The festival was created as an alternative to large-scale events, placing genuine human connection and close-up musical experiences at the heart of its concept. Across three evenings, audiences can enjoy performances by Harcsa Veronika & Gyémánt Bálint Duo, Sárik Péter Trio x Bartók, Elsa Valle Afrocando, Cafuné, Szirtes Edina Mókus & Nagy Yancha Duo, Pankastic!, and Balázs Elemér.
 
 
Just a short walk from the main venue, Lovas Harbour will host free morning matinee concerts, open to everyone. Organized by the Budapest Jazz Club, the Malomvölgy Festival aims to enrich the summer cultural life of the Balaton Highlands with a high-quality, family-friendly jazz festival in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
 
 
Admission is free for visitors under the age of 16 and for residents of Lovas.
