Budateher Jazz Night

The Vibratone Quartet aims to make the vibraphone more widely known, hoping that through the discovery of the instrument the audience will also be brought closer to the world of contemporary jazz and collective improvisation.

The quartet was formed in 2017 by Attila Rieger and Péter Rozsnyói whom both graduated at the Jazz department of the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy in 2004.

The duo is an interesting and fun match. Kanizsa Gina is a celebrated vocalist who is mostly involved in a capella, and Lamm Dávid is a virtuoso guitarist who feels comfortable in any style of jazz.

The duo of Myrtill Micheller and Tibor Pintér, successful for over ten years, performs monthly at the BJC. Their repertoire primarily consists of jazz standards, evergreens, and jazzy adaptations of pop songs.

Authentic bossa nova vibes from Brasil, intimate, light tunes with traditional bossa rhythm.

Rafael Márió’s latest project is an experimental one. The group prefers improvising and combining different musical elements.

The music of the trio is romantic and esthetic, but at the same time, respecting the mainstream roots of jazz.

Chamber jazz played by three equal parts. Associations and reflections spiced up with a taste of electronics. Passion. Interaction. Invention.

Gina Kanizsa is considered one of the most outstanding artists of her generation, and it is no coincidence that the professional jury of jazz.hu chose her as the best female jazz singer in 2023 and 2024.
