FIDELIO Jazz Night

This formation is tribute to the musician-composer giant, Tony Williams.

Tommy Vig is a jazz vibraharpist, drummer, percussionist, arranger, big band leader, film, television, and classical concert composer, inventor, author, and educator.

The Elemer Balázs Group, one of Hungary’s most popular jazz band was founded in 2000 by Elemér Balázs, the internationally widely recognized and popular jazz drummer.

The group started working professionally in 1990, and  has  been  recognised  from  the  beginning by audience and critics alike as one of the best young European mainstream jazz trio.

Alto-sax player Viktor Toth, one of the great sensations of the 2007 Budapest Jazz Festival, is the most open minded of the young jazzmen in Hungary.

For decades, the band has been consistently and confidently pursuing its own path with an individual blend of Hungarian folk music and Afroamerican jazz. 

Gyárfás István, known as Gyafi, is a fantastic guitar player and a joyful personality of Hungarian jazz life.
