His goal is to showcase his compositions and artistic endeavors, both as a performer and composer, in prestigious venues at home and abroad, thereby positioning the new generation of Hungarian jazz on the international music scene.

Márton Eged, bassist and composer, has been an active presence in the Hungarian jazz scene since the early 2000s.

Gábor Szalay is the outstanding Hungarian exponent of bebop guitar with his highly harmonic and incredibly swinging approach.

The quartet’s program is sophisticated and elegant. Their repertoire consists of interpretations from the Great American Songbook, as well as less frequently performed jazz classics.

The compositions capture traces of personal experiences, memories, and dreams — at times evoking the subtle vibrations of reality, at others the voices of a mythical inner world.

Their repertoire is characterized by Django Reinhardt’s musical legacy, enriched with the salon music of Budapest from the last century, a touch of Paris, and the freedom of jazz. 

According to the trio’s approach, every concert is a new discovery where music, the audience, and the moment together shape the sounds, with freedom and self-expression taking precedence over perfection.

The explosively talented young saxophonist, Soso Lakatos Sándor, has been performing publicly since the age of twelve. At fifteen, he was the star soloist of the Next Generation youth ensemble organized under the auspices of Hungarian Radio.

The RSS’s repertoire is diverse, blending elements of jazz, Bulgarian folk music, contemporary styles, and funk— enriched by unique arrangements and the inspiring connection between the musicians.

The Richárd Révész Latin Quartet, a defining formation of the Hungarian jazz scene, will enchant the audience this time with special guests.

Gina Kanizsa is considered one of the most outstanding artists of her generation, and it is no coincidence that the professional jury of jazz.hu chose her as the best female jazz singer in 2023 and 2024.
