One of the most successful Hungarian formations on an international level, the Bágyi Balázs New Quartet, is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary with this concert.

The internationally known and recognized jazz songstress Nikoletta Szőke is going to enchant the audience of Budapest Jazz Club. Her production is a special way to combine jazz, soul, R’n’B and latin music.

Gereben Zita’s velvety voice and personal onstage presence ensure an unforgettable evening. 

The aim of Dennert Árpád, the band father was to create a quality band that introduces traditional jazz and swing.

The goal of the Symbiosis Quintet is to unleash the expressive power of instrumental music and to present it to music listeners.

BJO believes in the importance of making the music available to the jazz-loving audience, to show them how it has changed and evolved in the past decades, and to introduce them to the various performers who are considered as milestones in this style of music.

This new band plays music from the “Golden jazz era”, in particular, hit songs from Louis Armstrong, Bobby Hackett, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. Their first album was released a year ago. 

The musicians create a connection between modern, contemporary, traditional hardbop, and swing.
