The Budapest Jazz Club House Rules, operated by the Jazzart Public Benefit Foundation as the manager and Nyílt Kultúra Ltd. as the entity responsible for catering, outline the mandatory entry and behavioral regulations for the club. By entering the premises, visitors acknowledge the house rules and accept that their enforcement is overseen by the manager for the safety and property security of visitors and the legitimate interests of the operator.

ENTRY TO BUDAPEST JAZZ CLUB

The Operator provides information about the current opening hours of the on-site ticket office on its online platforms and at the venue. The ticket office opens one hour before the scheduled program. In the case of ticket reservations made via phone or email, tickets can be held until 30 minutes prior to the start of the concert.

Visitors may enter the club during operating hours. For certain events, the operator may charge an entrance fee, the price of which is determined at their discretion and published on www.bjc.hu. Ticket office hours are provided online and at the venue.

Entrance and exit to and from the club are only permitted through designated points. For safety, the operator reserves the right to limit the items that can be brought into the club (e.g., large bags, umbrellas), with strict prohibitions on illegal items, drugs, pyrotechnics, explosive, toxic, or flammable materials, and items that pose a threat to public safety. Visitors are prohibited from bringing these items into the club.

During events, the club operates a seasonal coat check, which is mandatory for those attending the concert hall. Coats, bags, and umbrellas must be left in the coat check.

Visitors may not bring food or drinks not sold on the premises into the club. Entry is denied to individuals under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or those dressed inappropriately. The operator reserves the right to check entrants for security purposes and remove or deny entry to those who violate the rules.

In line with Hungarian law, visitors agree to cooperate with security personnel and follow their instructions during emergencies. Complaints regarding their conduct can be lodged at the operator's office.

Only assistance dogs (guide and police dogs) are allowed inside; other pets are prohibited. Bicycles are not allowed inside the club, and visitors must use nearby public bike racks.

BEHAVIORAL RULES

Visitors must behave appropriately and follow all legal requirements and house rules. They must refrain from actions that could harm the rights, health, or safety of others. They are responsible for taking care of club property and keeping the premises clean.

The operator may record audio and video of events, and visitors entering the club consent to being filmed or recorded, potentially appearing in broadcast or promotional materials. The operator, licensees, and media personnel have the right to use these recordings without compensation to the visitor.

Visitors are allowed to make recordings with prior written permission from the operator, but they may not sell or commercialize these recordings without permission from those featured in them.

The club employs security cameras for safety, with recordings deleted within three working days unless related to criminal activity.

MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

The operator is only liable for intentional damage or harm to life, physical integrity, or health. Visitors are fully responsible for damages they or their pets cause on the premises. The operator is not responsible for accidents or injuries caused by improper use of the club’s facilities or while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Visitors acknowledge that high-performance sound and lighting equipment is used on the premises, and entry is at their own risk. Those with conditions like epilepsy are advised to consult their doctor before attending events.

The operator is not responsible for issues or misuse of payment methods on the premises.

Visitors are responsible for any damages they cause, both civilly and criminally.
