Nikoletta Szőke, winner of the Montreux Jazz Voice Competition and recipient of the Máté Péter Award, is one of Hungary’s most popular jazz performers. With her Gipsy Queen Live program, she also appeals to fans of lighter genres, while her original songs blend elements of jazz, Latin, gypsy, Spanish, and R’n’B music.

The Borbély Balkan Jazz Projekt is one of the many  formations assembled by multi-instrumentalist, composer and bandleader, Mihály Borbély for which he has picked the most like-minded jazz- and folk musicians he’d had the good fortune to play with.
