As one of the most musically educated singers in Hungary, Urbán Orsi is acclaimed amongst musicians country-wide and over the borders as well.

Cseke Gábor is an incredibly versatile pianist, who  has  co-worked  in  many  important Hungarian bands.

At the season-opening concert of Harmónia Jazzworkshop, a wonderful Hungarian jazz guitarist's trio will be joined by a special guest artist to kick off the season in style.

The band’s work is inspired by the appreciation of great performers and composers of the swing and bebop era.

This night is the reunition of four extremely talented and elegant young Hungarian musicians, who are all currently living abroad.

A previous incarnation of this band, then led by Byron Wallen made its successful debut both in Budapest and London.

Tóth Viktor is always renewing himself, taking risks, searching for fresh routes and surprises, while still respecting tradition. 

On their latest album, the bandleader’s compositions are enriched by distinctive melodic contours, sensitive harmonies and personal interpretation, as well as the trio’s high-level musicianship — yet perhaps their greatest strength is the accessibility they maintain despite all the sophistication.

Hajdu Klára, an outstanding Hungarian jazz vocalist, has been chosen songstress of the year by the readers of Hungarian jazz blog jazzma.hu.

The formation, established in 2009, performs compositions that have become standards of the hard bop musicians from the 1960s-1970s.
