The outstanding pianist, Zoltán Pintér began studying the piano at the age of three. He won his first piano competition when he was 5 years old. Gabor Kollmann is the leader of the amazing Budapest Jazz Orchestra big band.

István Gyárfás is an absolute master of the modern swing guitar. Gifted with an amazing melodic sense he plays a highly accessible, enjoyable jazz at an extremely high artistic level.

Songstress Lakatos Ágnes is one of the most individual voices in the world of Hungarian jazz.

The brilliant young Hungarian tenorman produces a beautiful, muscular, dark tone on his horn, plays jazz that sounds like jazz, he is a soulful hard bop player, so true lovers of the genre will absolutely love him.

Alto-sax player Viktor Toth, one of the great sensations of the 2007 Budapest Jazz Festival, is the most open minded of the young jazzmen in Hungary.

The Borbély Balkan Jazz Projekt is one of the many  formations assembled by multi-instrumentalist, composer and bandleader, Mihály Borbély for which he has picked the most like-minded jazz- and folk musicians he’d had the good fortune to play with.
