BJO believes in the importance of making the music available to the jazz-loving audience, to show them how it has changed and evolved in the past decades, and to introduce them to the various performers who are considered as milestones in this style of music.

The duo of Myrtill Micheller and Tibor Pintér, successful for over ten years, performs monthly at the BJC. Their repertoire primarily consists of jazz standards, evergreens, and jazzy adaptations of pop songs.

The Elemer Balázs Group, one of Hungary’s most popular jazz band was founded in 2000 by Elemér Balázs, the internationally widely recognized and popular jazz drummer.

The members play their own songs varoiusly on their own and other intruments. 

István Gyárfás and Bálint Gyémánt are preparing for a spectacular guitar duel at the Budapest Jazz Club. 

Founded  by  Gábor  Kollmann,  Jazzmania  Big Band is based on the music of the ‘30s and ‘40s, spiced with jazzrock and funky elements.

In addition to his success in jazz, Balázs József is considered as a recognised orchestrator and composer in other genres as well. 

The repertoire reflects the members’ varied musical influences and leanings while not deserting the common ground of mainstream acoustic jazz. 

It is the fourth time that Trio Minor, led by Attila Rieger, is touring together with the French master of the harmonica, Laurent Maur.

The band’s frontmen, the four Kuna siblings play their brass instruments with impacable timing.

Péter Sárik jazz pianist invites the lovers of genre for special musical adventures. On this occasion two famous Hungarian guitarists will join the band.
