Gereben Zita’s velvety voice and personal onstage presence ensure an unforgettable evening. 

Zita’s quintet brings together acclaimed musicians whose playing moves freely between styles, shaped by improvisation, openness and Gereben’s distinctive voice.

Every two months, the legendary big band performs with a brilliant soloist of the Hungarian jazz scene.

Borlai Gergő's first album was released in 1998 with the title '17'. In 2001, he created the European Mantra, which is still one of the most exiting projects in our country.

The quintet, which also feeds on Bill Evans‚ classical school but also represents the diversity of contemporary jazz, places no bounds on the focus with its unique vocals by Emma.

Solati band combines the characteristics of jazz with Hip-Hop, Neo Soul, and R'n'B. The music is written by pianist Tzumo Árpád, and the author of the lyrics is Kriszta Pocsai, who makes the music whole with her brilliant voice.

The internationally known and popular Veronika Harcsa and the highly recognized Bálint Gyémánt singerguitarist duo are a special bright spot of the domestic, and proud to say, even the European music scene. The duo's music is a delicate and tasteful mixture of contemporary jazz and improvised pop music, full of depth, inspiration and humour.

Liszt Prize–winning pianist and composer Kálmán Oláh believes in genre-crossing diversity both as a performer and a composer, favoring a symphonic sound and equal musical voices instead of the conventional melody-andaccompaniment pairing.

Indigó is the pseudonym of singer-songwriter Ildikó Palágyi and her atmospheric modern jazz project.

The duo of Myrtill Micheller and Tibor Pintér, successful for over ten years, performs monthly at the BJC. Their repertoire primarily consists of jazz standards, evergreens, and jazzy adaptations of pop songs.

The resident big band of the Budapest Jazz Club is made up of some of Hungary’s finest musicians and is led by trumpeter Dávid Csizmadia. For this concert, eight core members of the BJC Big Band will perform in a special formation.
