The curiosity and experimental spirit of Kovász bring constant freshness and new flavors to the audience, as the musicians boldly explore the borderlands of different genres with their unique instrumental setup.

After last year's hugely successful concert, we cannot be without Desmond, who made his name and fame with the Dave Brubeck Quartet and that’s why people tend to overlook the wonderful music he made with the musically likeminded trumpeter, Chet Baker. This quintet made up from top musicians on the Hungarian jazz scene. 

Urbán Orsi is one of the outstanding jazz singers in Hungary. With her natural radiance and immediately identifiable, deep, powerful voice she creates a fantastic atmosphere.

In previous years the audience had already been able to "explore" the future stras of the piano, guitars, vocal, grass, and then drummers and bassists. Now the keyboards in the lead again!

All members of the quartet are among the best in their genre. The leader of the group plays a whole arsenal of reed instruments. 

Instead of competing, these brilliant musicians complement each other by producing a fresh and unique sound that transcends down all the artificial dividing lines created by rigid definitions of genre.

The wider public first encountered Kata Lazsádi at the Jazz Observatory organized by Harmónia Jazz Workshop in 2023. At this concert, her accompaniment consists of outstanding musicians from the youngest generation.

The formation, established in 2009, performs compositions that have become standards of the hard bop musicians from the 1960s-1970s. 

In Hungary it’s well worth checking out as yet no-name singers, because more and more frequently one can find real diamonds in that category.

On the recommendation of the professors of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Harmónia Jazz Workshop presents four exceptionally talented young drummers this evening.

Celebrated Junior Prima Award-winning pianist János Egri Jr. has quickly become one of the most exciting young voices in the Hungarian jazz scene. On this unforgettable evening, he will be joined by the world-renowned violin virtuoso Roby Lakatos, promising a performance of dazzling artistry and boundless musical energy. 

This evening will be all about the guitar - three of the best Hungarian guitarists will be on stage.

The East Gipsy Band is made up by some of the established stars of the contemporary Hungarian jazz scene. 

Binker Golding has a reputation of being one of London’s most hard-hitting jazz performers. His albums not only showcase great jazz playing, but tell stories too. He is known for lyrical composing and tough tenor playing.

At the season-opening concert of Harmónia Jazzworkshop, a wonderful Hungarian jazz guitarist's trio will be joined by a special guest artist to kick off the season in style.
