After the successful weekend jam sessions, Budapest Jazz Club now welcomes everyone to the new Thursday jams!

Djabe & Steve Hackett line-up released their 14th album Freya - Arctic Jam in February 2025. The release was received with great enthusiasm by international critics and fans alike, and the unanimous reviews suggest that it is one of Djabe's most successful recordings.

Each Wednesday, a different trio of talented young musicians is in charge of good vibes, and they welcome the audience to take part in their game.

The trio is a reincarnation of the similarly named quintet that was active in the early years of the millenium. They revisit Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue - using it as a springboard for further explorations of older jazz and pop evergreens.

During the summer break of the LFZE Open Jam series, fans of late-night jam sessions won't be left without joyous music.

The Zádor – Kováts duo was formed in 2016. In their music, the two instruments engage in a dialogue based on the themes of their own compositions, in which the alternation of consonant and dissonant harmonies creates tension.

Star bass-player father, János Egri and his amazingly talented and successful newcomer pianist son, János Egri Jr. will play with the young drummer forming an exciting trio.

Anything can happen on the weekend jam nights when the most popular Hungarian musicians create random formations and play true bebop to entertain the audience.
