BJO believes in the importance of making the music available to the jazz-loving audience, to show them how it has changed and evolved in the past decades, and to introduce them to the various performers who are considered as milestones in this style of music.

Anything can happen on the weekend jam nights when the most popular Hungarian musicians create random formations and play true bebop to entertain the audience.

Having emigrated from his native USA to Europe, guitarist Agostino Di Giorgio became an international disseminator of jazz, presently teaching at the Landes Konservatorium in Klagenfurt, Austria but giving master classes the world over.

Each occasion, the band chooses an istrument that will be in the spotlight. This night, the flute is the chosen one.

This straight ahead and modern mainstream band plays own compositions and the jazz standards of the ‘American Songbook’.

These two musicians will present the bohemian side of Budapest with some evergreen melodies.

Her  third  album;  ‘Message  In  The  Music’ contains her own soul-jazz compositions which will be performed for the audience at BJC on the 7th of March.

Two great musicians, who call themselves “Citizens of Jazzland”, have stepped out into a unified world without borders.
