Star bass-player father, János Egri and his amazingly talented and successful newcomer pianist son, János Egri Jr. will play with the young drummer forming an exciting trio.

After testing her wings in China and London, Juli Szigeti returned home and founded her own band, through which she represents the world of electro swing in Hungary. 

Each Wednesday, a different trio of talented young musicians is in charge of good vibes, and they welcome the audience to take part in their game.

The band's sound is shaped by the triple unity of jazz, classical music, and folk music, based on a rather honest and unique soundscape. They are characterized by the fresh and free-spirited performance of their compositions: they often play in a trio or duo formation.

János Egri Jr. is a Junior Prima Award-winning jazz pianist known for his versatility and captivating stage presence. Active since the age of 18, he is a well-known figure in the Hungarian jazz scene and has collaborated across genres—from mainstream jazz to pop and avant-garde projects.

The duo of Myrtill Micheller and Tibor Pintér, successful for over ten years, performs monthly at the BJC. Their repertoire primarily consists of jazz standards, evergreens, and jazzy adaptations of pop songs.

The evening’s “substitute” guest vocalist is Dávid Varga, singer, music teacher, and choir conductor, who is an active figure in the Hungarian jazz and popular music scene.
